Getting to Lost Villa

As a guest, you organize your own travel to Split. Upon arrival, the destination team at Lost Villa coordinates the transfer from the airport all the way to the villa.

Shared Transfer Schedule

To utilize the shared transfer provided by the destination, please ensure your flight bookings align with the following times:

  • Arrival (Saturday): Your flight should land no later than 18:00 (6 PM) to catch the final ferry to the island.
  • Departure (Saturday): Your flight should depart no earlier than 09:45 (9:45 AM) to match the morning transport from the island.

The destination team coordinates several transfers throughout the arrival day based on guests’ flight times to minimize waiting. If you land early, you will have time to enjoy lunch or explore the historic streets of Split’s Old Town before the boat journey begins.

Note: If you choose a flight departing before 09:45 on Saturday, you will need to utilize the Friday transfer to Split and arrange your own accommodation and final transport to the airport.

Delays and Unexpected Events

Should your flight be significantly delayed, causing you to miss the final scheduled transfer, the team on-site will assist you in organizing overnight accommodation in Split and transport to the island the following day. Any additional costs for accommodation or private transport are settled by the guest on-site. We recommend contacting your travel insurance provider in such events.

Maximize Your Stay – An Evening in Split

Would you like to experience more of Croatia’s culture and city life? Lost Villa offers a complimentary transfer from the destination to Split harbor on Friday (the day before the official departure day).

This is a popular option for rounding off the week. You can enjoy an afternoon and evening in Split, check into a local hotel or guesthouse, stroll along the Riva promenade, and enjoy dinner at one of the city’s many restaurants. Staying the final night on the mainland allows for a relaxed Saturday morning before heading to the airport.

Please note: If choosing this option, you are responsible for organizing and funding your own accommodation in Split and the final short transport to the airport on Saturday. Please notify the staff on-site at least 5 days in advance if you wish to use this option.

The Journey to the Island

Reaching Lost Villa is part of the experience, taking you deep into the Croatian archipelago. The transfer involves the following steps:

  1. Airport to Split Harbor: A 30-minute drive from the airport to the harbor.
  2. Split Old Town: Depending on the ferry schedule, there may be time to explore the historic city center and enjoy a meal.
  3. Ferry to Hvar: The ferry from Split to Stari Grad takes approximately 2 hours—a beautiful journey across the Adriatic Sea.
  4. The Final Stretch: Upon arrival at Stari Grad, a vehicle will take you along the scenic coastal roads to Lost Villa (approx. 1 hour), where peace and the sea await.
